The Broken Moon, Did you notice?

It's probably the seventh day of the waxing moon. They say in the Indian astronomy Shukla Paksha. It means the fortnight of the waxing moon. I watched the moon last night and again this evening. I found one of the corners broken. It's like a rat might have bitten of the moon and gone!
Is it my illusion or an unhappy result of my defective vision? Has it been always like this ? Perhaps I failed to notice all my life .
Whatever it is , soon a lunar eclipse will take place. And astrologers are telling me that something big is going to happen in my life as an effect of this eclipse.
What that big will be is in the womb of the future. When it will be born I will share it here in myLot.

I had not been out so late recently, so have not witnessed the ragged moon.
Though it is a catchy name for it.
I too might see that as my vision is not so great.

I have seen it on the news. But I wasn't looking up.
