A Lovely Visitor

It has been almost the whole day since I had this lovely visitor. The butterfly is accompanying me while teaching online. In my country, some old folks believed that having a butterfly in the house meant a deceased loved one was visiting his or her family. So, I am assuming that it could be either my mom or dad.
Do you have any beliefs like this?

It's beautiful. I know several people who believe there are signs that someone who passed is visiting. It might not be a physical thing, but something takes place that brings that missing person to mind and they believe that person has caused it to happen. I think it's possible.

We have had butterflies flying around in the house but never gave it a thought
