Coffee and Some Random Thoughts

Happy Wednesday Everyone! a nice sunny day here today and I love when the sun is shining through the windows. Sunny days always make me feel better.
I admit I have a sweet tooth. I love cookies, cake and of course chocolate. The ads I'm getting are filled with all sorts of goodies from cookies and cakes to gift baskets. Certainly much more appealing than the teeth that are constantly showing up
Yesterday I was surprised to see an ad pop up for an Etsy shop that I like. I know the girl whose shop it is and I was like "wow" I know that person. I was going to send her a message that I saw her shop advertised here on myLot but I got busy and forgot about it.
What am I doing for fun today? well, I have a pile of stuff that needs shredding and that's on top of my "to do" list. Actually it's been #1 on my "to do" list for days and I keep procrastinating. It's just one of those things that needs to be done but easily put off. The only bad thing is the pile just keeps getting bigger.
I'm expecting some packages from Amazon today. Started my Christmas shopping with a few little things that are more like stocking stuffer ideas. At least I can say I started

Just sitting here wasting time commenting on some old posts that will never get responded to. lol. Why not? I guess in an odd way I feel like I am helping myLot make some extra money since none of the pennies I am contributing will ever have to actually be paid out. lol

Every day I say I'm going to read some old posts but then get lost in the newer ones and well, the old ones stay old. One of these days I'm going to spend some time going through all the people I follow and see who's still here and who isn't.

Sun always makes me feel better. It started out sorta sunny here this morning but some atrocious weather condition is happening now, not quite rain, not quite sleet.

I got a couple of gifts today for my two grandkids. I'm giving them gift cards along with the toy I bought and my shopping is now done.
For shedding I take mine to my credit union. They take shred items twice a year. Usually there is a very long line of cars but when I went last month there was only one car ahead of me and none behind so they let me go home for more.
I'm sure I have more bags under the bed in my computer area but I'll I take those next spring when it's offered again.

I don't know of any place to bring stuff that needs to be shredded
That certainly sounds convenient.
I have a pile of stuff but it's not bags full and it's just the lazy side of me that keeps procrastinating

Are we talking about paperwork? We use anything confidential to light the fire, and in summer I put it into the compost bin. By the time it's been sogged by old tea and coffee dregs and covered in potato peelings and banana skins I don't think anyone is going to dig it out!

I have a horrible sweet tooth too. I need to keep candy OUT of the house. I have a ton of shredding too; and I keep putting it off. My day is going OK; but it's only 6:40 am! Hope you have a wonderful day.

I feel like my shredding grows overnight. I can never figure out where it all comes from. I don't even get that much mail anymore.
I have to keep candy out of the house too. With the holidays coming I know we'll have more stuff around than usual so I have to plan ahead and not eat too much sweets now.

I'll have dinner with my brother today to celebrate his birthday on Sunday. Other family members will join. His birthday is actually on Sunday. But we want to avoid the crowd at the restaurant on holiday.

@LadyDuck lucky ladies getting some nice dresses. I have quite a lot of things I don't wear anymore but it's just a matter of taking the time to go through my closet and sort through it all.

My Diwali cleaning is still going on. I think it will be over by tomorrow. Sunday is Diwali, the festival of lights in India.
