Got a craving for eating ladoos and thought of puffed rice ladoos. They are crisp and light. Puffed rice ladoos are made using jaggery syrup and a bit of cardamom powder. Mother made these as they were huge but very light and so ideal for kids. I must look for puffed rice and make them myself but they are available online too. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Murir_Moa_Or_Puffed_Rice_Laddu%E2%80%93_Bengali_Sweets,_Kolkata_-_West_Bengal_-_DSC_0029.jpg Image credit:

We make Rice Krispies treats when we want something light but delicious. They're made from puffed rice and marshmallow creme or heated marshmallows. (This is the only way I eat rice.)

This is new to me. When you say marshmallows is it a vegetable or candy?

@allknowing It's a candy. Light and fluffy... We also use the marshmallow creme to make fudge, another type of candy.

@DaddyEvil I have had marshmallow candy. I tried making it too but was not a success. Fudge is known to me and have eaten it as well. . Do you melt the marshmallows while making those crispies?

We use cardamom for many of the sweets that we make.

@allknowing The picture is good. This is our regular snacks material. I think it harms nothing even if it is 4 or 5 eaten.
