A good day

I am deeply grateful that hubby was able to sit at our little table today. A year ago he mostly slept through Thanksgiving, coming down to sit under a blanket in the living room for an hour or so. Today I am grateful his health is better.
Years ago we bought a little train set from Burger King! We lost pieces of the set through the years. I found another set on e-bay and bought it, giving it to hubby today. He had a grand time putting it together. One little battery and the engine zips around the track, pulling the cars.
Today's meal was simple but very tasty and above all, friendly. We were supposed to have home grown butternut squash with our rice and dried cranberries but I didn't put the squash in soon enough to bake so we just had some as a leftover.
I hope everyone has had a good day, whatever you did or didn't eat.

@rebelann Thank you for asking. I try to keep going to the pool cause it gives me a sense of stability. I am deeply grateful that I have that pool to go to. I am okay though I wish I could walk further without issue. Its shocking, how fast time flies.
