George Floyd's murderer Derek Chauvin was stabbed in prison

Not surprising. Prison inmates have their own system of delivering their version of justice. Chauvin was the Minneapolis cop who knelt on Floyd's neck for NINE MINUTES while he cried out for his mother and said he wouldn't breathe. 2 years ago he was convicted of murder, unintentional murder, and manslaughter which resulted in a 22 year prison sentence. It has been reported that prison staff had to initiate life-saving measures but that he is now in stable condition in a hospital. If I had to bet I'd say that this won't be the only time that Derek Chauvin is attacked while in prison.

Prison shivs aren't as effective as they once were, I guess. I'm sure plans are already in the works for Chauvin's next "treatment." I feel no sympathy for him.

I feel no sympathy for George Floyd either personally. He was no hero.

I will only assert that George Floyd was no hero and I think the world is better without him. That pregnant woman he held at gunpoint, to her pregnant belly, while his buddies robbed her while her young son was present should be enough to know that maybe Chauvin did us a favor even if he went about it the wrong way. Neither of these men are admirable people is what I am saying. It was two very bad people who met together at the same time, and the world is better without either them in society. Both Floyd and Chauvin are exactly where they belong.

@NJChicaa Of course you would. You'd rather blame a cop for murdering a black man rather than accept that the two would never have been in the same company had George Floyd been a law abiding citizen. Derek Chauvin did not simply pick Floyd out of a crowd of innocent people. He was sent to Floyd because Floyd was engaged in a criminal act in which police were dispatched to respond to. It doesn't justify the killing. But it also does not negate the fact that George Floyd put himself in harm's way through his actions. If you are standing in the middle of a highway and get hit by a car, you can't necessarily blame the car for killing you.

If that's all that happened, he got lucky.

A cop in prison is not good news.

It is when they kneel on someone's neck for 9 minutes while they cry out for their mother and say they can't breathe.

@RebeccasFarm if that wasn't a possibility then what would stop them from further violence against people?

He survived and now he has a whole lot more years to watch out for. He deserved it though I have to say. His own fault for getting jailed

He is in a vulnerable position. Who stabbed him?

@NJChicaa Why would that not be reported?

I guess an insider was instructed to harm him. It is a sad thing that these things are happening to him.

That's what I've heard in the news. He's expected to survive too.

Someone on the book of faces said we should call him Derek Shank-in now. I'm actually surprised it took this long for it to happen.

Yes, inmates have no patience for child molesters either. I'm not surprised that Chauvin was attacked. Have a good week.
