Oh No! He Will Be Recycled!

There is a bowl we keep by the door that we throw our recyclables into to take into the garage where the main box we put out for pick up is. I emptied it, and it wasn't long after that Grayson jumped into it. Is he recyclable? I have no idea. And if I do recycle him, what do I get back? What does he become? What does he get turned into? A furry park bench? Fuzzy dice? A Felix clock? I am not sure what his intentions are by jumping into our recycle bowl, but one thing I can say for sure is he is NOT going out with the cans and bottles and tubs and jars. I won't let him go.

Cats love a box or any sort of container to squash themselves into. Grayson is such a pretty cat but much better in his original form than any other.

I had a cat that did something similar. When I was married my wife and I would buy a 24-pack of canned soda each week at the grocery store. When we got home we would empty the case of sodas into fridge, and then set aside the empty carton to throw out. Our cat always hid inside that, and on more than one occasion I almost accidentally threw him out with the trash!

@porwest We got to the point where we just assumed the cat was inside the cartons, so we instinctively checked before throwing them out.
