Tonight's dinner was very good

I ate dinner at my friends' house and it was very good. He likes to cook, although he tends to make the same things. Tonight it was meatloaf. I love meatloaf. This was GOOD meatloaf. I told him it would make great meat balls (another meal he makes frequently). We also had mashed potatoes, peas and corn. There was also some leftover pineapple souffle from their Thanksgiving dinner. It's actually a type of bread pudding and is quite good. I need to make some here. I love it cold and sliced in a sandwich. Or it can be sliced and reheated in the microwave.

No. It is beef. But I'm sure it would be just as good with ground (minced) goat or lamb. I like both. I just don't like all the bones with goat.

That is quite the plate. I rarely make two vegetables, but I can't see anything wrong with the combination. I make mixed vegetables all the time. As for meatloaf we agree 100% on all counts.
