This is a digital painting of singer George Jones. I was inspired to do it after reading an article about his song "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?"
It's always been a favorite of mine ever since I first heard it as a youth.
I had a lot of fun with this. Are you a fan of his music? Have you heard it at all?

Great job. I'm not a country fan except for Patsy Cline, the Everly Brothers and Shania Twain. Anything from the 60s and 70s for me...and some 80s.

I’m so happy that my little discussion inspired such a tribute to the Possum!!
I grew up with his music. I’d say my favorite song of his is “The Window Up Above.” Especially the Mercury version. He re-recorded it nearly every time he changed record labels, but nothing beats that Mercury version.
