Lost dog that was seen in a mountain trail in Colorado found by authorities

A dog who answers to the name Nova Riley went missing from her owner Robynne Simons-Sealy in September of this year when Nova fled from Robynne in the parking lot of a Safeway Store in Conifer Colorado.
Nova who is 14 months old went missing and thanks to the alertness of the deputies of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) who recognized the Bernese mountain dog on Sunday where Nova was seen int he Meyer Branch Park after two hikers saw her and one of them attempted to be friends with Nova, the hiker was bitten by the dog since she was scared and a had a broken leg.
Animal Control Officer Kylie Rupe as well as three JCSO deputies managed to win the trust of Nova by giving her food and then getting her into a tarp and take her to reunite with Robynne the same day.
Robynne was very happy that the community was able to reunite Nova with her despite the fact the Nova will lose of leg that was broken and lost 20 pounds during her time missing away from home with her owner who is disabled.
