Sharing is Loving: Myth?!?

I have been experiencing an internet outage since last night. My world turned upside-down because I was tagged absent from my classes online. I have no option but to ask my younger sister to cancel them on her side and let her access my account on this online tutorial website. I reported the incident and received an advisory from my internet service provider that my area was affected. The sad part is that it will take at least 3 days to restore my internet connection. The loving part was asking my neighbor to share his internet, and he agreed. Now, I am using it. I will just have my classes in the morning. Then, I will run to my ISP's main office to request the incident report or ask for any certification to backup my claim of exemption from being penalized by this company. Hence, sharing is not a myth in times like this. Do you love sharing without any returns? Image Credit: condaluna.com

@allknowing They had fixed it right after going to the office. The good part is that my online tutorial company uplifted my penalty.

I went to the office of this company yesterday. But still, the internet outage is not fixed yet. I am glad this neighbour of ours is so kind enough.

Luckily, I got my internet back around 5:00 p.m. But then, I need to report this incident early in the morning today. Since it is being restored, I need to request an incident report to submit to my company. It is really troublesome to do this.

Based on my previous experiences, there are still some people who are not that way. But, I can still be optimistic in dealing with different sets of people.

I was so stressed out last night and today. Luckily, the neighbor lends his internet. I had also experienced some people like you described. Now, they are not in my life anymore.

The internet outage disrupting your classes must have been quite a stressor, but it's heartening to see your resilience and creative problem-solving. You should't ask for returns nor announce that you are helping people: Matthew 6:3-4 : But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

I always believe that we need to be reselient and find ways to solve the problems. Panicking is not a helpful in this kind of situation.

Oh my goodness, they know that it is important for you to have Internet access. I am glad your neighbor lets you use his internet. No, sharing is not a myth and I like more to give than to receive.

Personally speaking, I also like sharing more to people and do not expect any returns from them. It is always a good feeling.

It was a blessing to have this neighbor. I need to bring back the internet cable tomorrow. I still need to observe my ISP's performance tonight.
