Good afternoon from this side of the planet.. It's past 12 in the afternoon and I have some 20 minutes of break. I thought of dropping by here and say a quick HELLO. It's my first post of December. Been too busy to substitute for one of the Primary School teacher in the last one week. She got dengue and took a leave. She will be joining from coming week and that should give me some breathing space. I am here for the full day at school as I have to substitute for few of her classes after I finish my morning sessions. I have been almost missing from the online space. Yes, we are into December, the last month of the year. I am sure that everyone would be soaked in the festival mood.. My elder daughter will be here this weekend for her two weeks vacation. My younger one is waiting for her to come and put up the Christmas tree together. We don't celebrate Christmas in a Hindu household. But my children have made it a ritual since they were young. I am busy with Christmas artwork and songs at school. We celebrate all the festival with the same zeal. I have a big fair coming up. We do it every year around this time as a fund raising event for the Organisation that runs school for blinds. Few of my art and handmade products along with those made by my daughters would go for sale and we will donate the share to the organisation. We also plan to sale some of baked goodies by my younger daughter. I also plan to sell few more of food items. I hope that all goes well and we end up doing what we plan for. I want to sell more, so that I can donate a good share for charity. It's been cloudy, rainy and gloomy in the last two days. The neighbouring state was hit by cyclone yesterday and we are experiencing the effects too. Prayers for all the residents there. They had a devastating one in 2015 and places remained flooded for months. This one has been predicted to be of the same devastating magnitude. I am happy to see mild sun peeping through the cloud. But it might not last too long as there is prediction for rain and clouds for another few days. I hope that all is well in your myLot corner . Stay healthy and happy.
