Bad Day on the Internet

I had a very unsuccessful day on the internet today. I have email problems where I am getting ancient emails from years ago as if they are new. Besides that, I tried to sign up for Upwork which was a total disaster. Besides that, I found out that my Amazon order was left in someone's mailbox and it is up to me to go look for it. They told me I was not eligible for a refund. I tried a customer service call and got someone I could not understand a word he was saying and the connection was bad. I am ready to throw my computer into the pond. Maybe the fish can nest in it so that it is good for something. How was your computer day? Do you ever have bad days?

I am sorry you had a bad Internet day. I was online for a very short time yesterday. We decorated the house, then I helped my husband doing a few things and finally cleaned the house.

@LadyDuck If you are tired, you should rest. Maybe some things can be done tomorrow. Your health is important too.

I am so, so sorry! That is unusual of Amazon to be so unbending; and I'm sorry you couldn't sign up for Upwork. Fortunately I haven't had a bad computer day in a while. Knock on wood.

I hope you continue to have great computer days. Some days I could swear mine is out to get me. Maybe I should make an aluminum foil hat to confuse it. Just kidding, I'm sorry, but sometimes I think goofy stuff.

@akalinus The foil hat might help. Dell is known for computers freezing up. I've had that problem over and over again; BUT in the past month or so it's been good. Knock on wood.

Yeah, I got it. My friend found it. She was on the way to work so she did not say where.

I have days like that all the time online and offline, today I could not get my emails to load. Yesterday I burned the peas while cooking the dinner. Now it has started to rain and I have just hung out my washing. Whatever next?

We might be soul sisters, possibly. Your days sound like mine. I should just get offline and read my new book that we just found. The computer has not found a way to destroy that--yet!

I woke up to more computer problems today. Someone else has claimed they own my Microsoft Account and email. I have to change my name to access my account. I proved I owned the phone when they sent me a code.

Amazon misplaced my package, and they have no idea where it is. I too got someone very hard to understand, which stressed me out. I’m hoping they will find it. I’m surprised they didn’t offer to send you a replacement though. Years ago, when my package was delivered to a neighbor, and the neighbor wouldn’t give it back, they sent another of the same thing. I really hope this situation somehow works out for you.

My friend did find my package. It is wrapped up so tight that I don't know if I can get it open. It is a book and I don't want to damage it.

My son used to do that. He now lives in another city and I seldom see him. He works two jobs and has a girlfriend so it is to be expected.

I did find my package, thank you. Today my Microsoft account is messed up. They denied access to my email. Someone else claimed they own my phone and Outlook email. I am so tired of computer problems.

No, I figure they were floating around in cyberspace and just arrived, but I'm not an expert.

@TheHorse I don't know what happened. I never heard of an inbox going upside down but I have not yet seen or heard everything.

Sometimes the internet goes bonkers. I wonder if it was affected by the sunstorms we are supposed to be having. Something made it do these things.

@birjudanak My internet here is usually better than where I lived before. When I was in St. Pete, a bigger place, the internet was sketchy and I never knew if it would be available. Now, I live in a more rural setting and the internet service is a lot better but sometimes, the various sites I visit can be wonky, too. Every site I visit might be working except YouTube or myLot or some other site.

@akalinus in that case we are lucky here as not facing internet serious issue like that because here internet providers work well with internet service and thus we get good one.

At least you have real reasons to complain. I blame the internet but I am the cause of most of my trouble. I hope things will get better. I can't wait to read your next post I had the best internet day ever!!

Lately, I have had good internet days. I think the atmosphere, storms, or whatever hurt the reception and limit the usefulness of the internet.,

We were having intermittent computer issues at work yesterday. I guess the high winds we had were messing with the satellite connection. At least that’s the excuse they were telling us.
