The new yr is approching upon us

I can't wait till this year is over & get into the new yr so I can get somethings done around here 4 a change. Being by the trime spring gets here I should be able to crack the whip as some would say on getting stuff done I have a LOT of work I want to get done next yr BUT? ? I am running into brick walls & it's not cause of the $ but the people around here just don't want to work I've hired 2 people since I've been home & that's it. 1 lives within a 100 ft of me but he keeps loading up his plate with other work than to just work for me I pay what I think the job is worth like 500 $ to put a small floor down & replace a toilet, 4 hr job. Paid another guy a 1000$ to put a kitch, hallway & laundry room floor in, & a vapor cover to seal the cabin kitchen & bathroom ceiling & that's all the work I've gotton done since I've been home. I don't get the concept of people any more, it boggles my mind how people treat people when they know they need help & willing to pay them. It may come down to doing it ourselves KNOWING that's not a smart wise idea when your in your late 70's with a bad heart high blood presure, not good. I need a roof put over the back deck, need a parking spot done for our 85 dodge van to make room in the yard, out of the way of the driveway, need a awning put infront of the cabin to park under in bad weather. I'll figure something out I always do when I'm on a mission like this, God will make it happen on his time while the witer is upon us I will use this time to work on getting stronger with every passing day.
