My Students Threw a Pre-Graduation Party For Me

I feel so loved by my kids. I feel so celebrated together with my success in my doctoral studies. According to my boss, they had a week-long preparation for this and really went through difficulty in asking permission from the management to do this. Needless to say that I felt so reciprocated with my love for them. I did not know I love them until today. I seem to not like surprises but really this made one of my most memorable days in SJAHI, the school where I am working as an English Teacher They fared well in all their roles with their planned surprise for me and really I was caught by so much surprise. I was so taken a back that my tears ran drier than before they ever shed. They almost got my hackles up when more than half of my class gone out of the class out of the blue. I was even angry in our WhatsApp group because it was their first time to be seemingly playing truant during our class hour. All I could utter was OMG! repeatedly. I was lost for words.
