How do you get rid of bed bugs?

Our neighbors talk about how bed bugs bite them. They complain about how they get into the house and the bugs seem endless. Do you happen to have such guests as bed bugs in your house? How do you get rid of them?

No, we do not have bed bugs, I think that it's hard to get rid of them.

@LadyDuck I guess you are right. However, we can get rid of them if we thoroughly clean the area where they hide.

There is something called Diamateceous Earth. Spread it around..but do not inhale the dust. Pets also ..do not let inhale. Also hot steam gets rid of them..if you have a steamer. Cedar oil and so on..lots of things can get rid of them. But then you have to get rid of things that may be infested and hot wash clothes ..it is a horrible battle. Bed Bugs are EVIL

Oh, gross. Bed bugs are terrible from everything I have heard. I had a friend who brought them home from the hospital his wife had been in. They had to call an exterminator for them to all go away. Your neighbor really should too.

We circulate a room spray to get rid of insects. I dont there are bed bugs in our bed

Bed bugs come from public places as well. Hospitals, buses and other public places are where you can find them. When you sit on their chairs, bugs move to your pants. That's the way they can get into your home.

I dont have bedbugs though but I remember many years back when I experience it, I had to carry the matress inside the sun and it reduced the bugs.
