Apologies to my MyLot friends.

Overall, things are going pretty well here in California. I am having fun with my students, some of the checks sent to me were not stolen from my mailbox, my truck is running well, and I have the materials for my top secret salad tomorrow. If I accidentally listed the ingredients to my salad dressing in a previous post (I blame the caffeine), please ignore them, or only make this dressing for someone you really love and appreciate. And go easy on the vinegar.
However, I owe my MyLot friends an apology. Vanny and I were hoping to get our latest music video up by Thanksgiving, but technological problems got in the way. Some of her emails went into my SPAM folder for no apparent reason. Some of my emails simply never got to her, also for no apparent reason. DJ no longer has the technology available to her that led to the nice presentation of the photos we used in previous videos. Most of the kitty photos sent in good faith by fellow MyLotters turned into decapitated fur balls when we tried to use them. It has been a frustrating couple of months in YouTube Land.
I will attach my first video with Vanny and DJ. It was from before we started attaching lots of photos to our videos. It's actually a grumpy song, about a friendship gone bad, but it's a good one. Most of you have already heard it. In a later video (perhaps tomorrow) I will attach a more reverent video, perhaps of a favorite Christian song, given that tomorrow is Christmas. Handel's Messiah? Some Bach? Something by John and Terry Talbot? Something by Front Range? I invite suggestions.

Remember: Life is a projective test That is what YOU would do if you were about to release a music video. But in this case you're actually right. I am apologizing for the fact that we won't be able to use all of the kitty pictures sent to us in this video. Your "kitty in the sink" photo was going to go with "you trying to act like you some kind of big money." But DJ no longer has the technology to make slides transition from one to the other smoothly. Soon I'm going to try recording on my own cell phone. I could do simple acoustic guitar songs.

@TheHorse It seems to me the editing process should not be that difficult. I use ClipChamp which is very basis but rather functional for my video editing. But it is what it is. I did get to see the video finally. It showed up in my feed. Great song, but it did seem the video had many "issues" which was immediately apparent.
I would LOVE to see you do more "live" stuff, just you and your guitar. I think you should do that, and recording the video via your cell phone and uploading them directly to YouTube is easy peasy lemon squeezy.

@changjiangzhibin89 Heh. It makes me laugh when someone is looking for someone at a bluegrass festival (which this was). "What's he look like?" "Oh, a middle aged dude, about 5" 10", with a greying goatee. Nice guy" That's most of the people there!
