I HOPE SANTA WAS GOOD TO YOU ALL!

I was brought up by a Jewish family in an Italian neighborhood of the Bronx in the 1930s and 1940s. I was taught to, and participate and,to respect EVERYONE'S religions and backgrounds and how lucky I was! I saw the Catholic Cardinal at the 5th Avenue church bless people of all colors, I saw, met and GOT a present from Santa Claus and I became a Brother to a Black schoolmate not to mention learned at how many diverse people lived and got along within one city block. I could tell you years of stories of how people of different races, colors and religions helped me and/or took care of me and how many I was able to return the same to others. Because of these special people in 'Da Bronx' I have had a vast, varied, certainly interesting life and I thank you all. Though I have not lived in NYC over 50 years I will always remember loved being called a "New Yawker"! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
