That Happy Medium

Yeah, that'd be nice, wouldn't it? I am watching a movie entitled "Jules". A wonderful actor named Ben Kingsley is in it along with Harriet Sansome Harris and Jane Curtin. Three greats. The storyline is great and teaches us a good lesson in how to treat our older generation. This guy has an alien spaceship land on his azaleas in his backyard. His first instinct is to call 911. The operator tells him to go back to sleep, he is having a bad dream. He tries to tell the city council with the same result. A friend of his makes him realize that he needs to keep 'Jules' a secret. And, of course, his daughter thinks he's losing it and makes him get some testing. It just goes on and on. When you are old you don't have a lot of choices when you have a family. They all seem to think this or that is right for you with no happy medium. Sure they need to help but where is that happy medium?
What a great movie.
