Good evening. I just watched the weather for tomorrow.
Snow is creeping into the state from the south right now and should reach Green Bay by 2 AM for the first wave, and 6 AM for the second wave which will last until 6 AM Wednesday morning.
Along with intense snow we'll have wind gusts up to 40 MPH. I hope my tree is secure on the patio.
They're telling everyone not to go out if they don't need to. Everything is closed tomorrow: schools, activities, community centers. They're expecting dangerous driving situations and possible power outages.
I'm glad I canceled my appointments for the week. I pray everyone will be safe in this storm.
Where I live, we're in the heaviest snowfall totals. We're expecting six to nine inches. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but when you factor in whiteout conditions and blowing snow, it gets dangerous. I'm glad I'm staying home and have nowhere to go.
I'm glad we're getting snow here. I'm praying everyone is safe.

They're not calling it a blizzard, but it will be hazardous. The news this morning already showed a jack knifed semi turned over on the highway. So, the roads are slick. I told my son to be careful. He's out there in it. He told me it's not too bad right now.

@just4him Things will still be closed tomorrow as well. I always have provisions. I made sure on Monday to get enough cat food, too.

Well, at 8:54 am Tuesday, it appears to be snowing here even though it's 2°C/36°F with an expected high of 7°C/45°F.

@just4him The power went out twice along with the phone, internet and TV. The generator gave us lights and heat at least!!!

Right now it's snowing/sleeting then turning into heavy rain and high winds. Pretty nasty weather today into tomorrow. So far I haven't heard of school closings but maybe by this afternoon the schools will decide to close tomorrow.
Going out in this kind of weather can be treacherous walking or driving.
Guess having to cancel your appointments was a blessing in disguise..

It's supposed to be windy, wet and warm. Then drop back down the next day. If it doesn't rain, George will be happy to spend most of the day out on the front porch.
