Anyone feels like social media (ig, tiktok, snap etc..) makes you feel worse. Like i’m so lonely all the time and spending life working, and on social media you see people travelling, being in love and living their best lives and i just feel like it’s so bad on my mental health. And at the same time it’s so fake and everyone’s miserable inside. Interested to know if im the only one feeling this way

I know what you mean precisely..there is no life in social media..I miss the days long ago with my Mother taking us for picnics and all such socializing like that of the kids on the street and all. There is no life for people today. Unless you have bucoo of money to travel.

I also don't like social media. The only platform I'm active on is mylot. I'm on Facebook but I don't post anything. I just read posts I'm interested in. My Twitter account has been inactive for more than five years. My parler account is also inactive. My blog has been neglected. I'm not a fun of social media like I used to when I was 18.

I dislike social media, full of "fake" people. It seems that many want to appear a lot wealthier than they are. It is a sad virtual world.

On social media, I see people with cancer, with disabilities, who are more miserable. I think I am lucky when I see them. Comparations should be avoided. Those people don't post their problems on Facebook. I am sure that they have their problems. I feel awful when I compare myself to other people.
