Did You Watch Dark Shadows?

From 1966 to 1971, there was a dark soap opera called, "Dark Shadows" that came on every afternoon. It was full of supernatural, trials of a family and magic. It's a show that is hard to describe to those that have never heard of it or of Barnabas Collins, the vampire.
I was eight years old when it first came on and remember racing home with my sister to watch it. It was so scary!
Looking back, the special effects, acting and scenes were nothing like today but those were the best times to me. Or, maybe I'm just old and like to hold my memories of long ago.
Did you ever watch this show? They've done a couple movies as a remake, one with Johnnie Depp, but they are nothing like the soap of back then.

I've never watched it but I'm reminded of a similar soap opera called Shree. It has Indian actors and was scary too. It used to be every evening on a local tv station.

@noni1959 I don't know if it is easy to find it and where to find it. There is another scary one acted by indians called "Fear Files"

I did when I was a school kid. I'd come home and sneak an episode in..my Mom did not want me watching it

I remember it as I use to watch it with mom
she had a thing for barnanbas ha ha ha.
