Since the start of the new year, my mom is a big believer of practices or beliefs on how to become rich or how to prosper in the start of the new year. I think she saw this while watching fengshui masters and fortune tellers on tv and in social media. She's doing it since she retgired from work. She believes in luck and in karma. Her said prosperity bowl consist of 12 eggs, 12 gold coins usually its a chocolate candy wrapped in gold foils with coins design, uncooked rice, 1 piece ripe orange and the red envelope which is called ampao with money inside and she placed them all in a blear bowl. Its a bit exciting and intriguing at times but its a tradition in our family. For me theres nothing wrong if someone follows this and I believe that one can prosper if he/ she wirks hard and knows how to keep safe earnings. Fellow lotters , do you follow beliefs and tradition to become properous in life? What are your ways to become prosperous aside from having a job and saving?

This prosperity bowl looks beautiful. I am not superstitious, but the first day of the year I always eat the traditional meal of lentils for good luck, health and money.

@LadyDuck Oh that is good to know maam. Usually its not that we are following traditions and beliefs but because we are used to doing the practice maybe shared on to us by our parents or ancestors.

I am not superstitious, but I respect beliefs. After all human is all about the beliefs. This looks wonderful, I am quite sure this has worked wonders too for her.
