Will I do my laundry today? How often do you do laundry?

Sometimes I make Big Plans and wind up not quite getting them done. My January underpants still smell like a Spring Rose, but my socks do not. I am down to my last Formerly White pair of socks. I hereby vow to do my laundry, deposit a check, and pick up some meds at Kaiser today. There I said it. Either those things or I'll take a nap. How often do you do your laundry?

I do my laundry twice a week. I will be doing laundry on the weekend starting February because I will be full time busy Monday to Friday. Is spring rose a perfume?

It all depends on the clothes I want to wear mainly. In winter it depends on the sun and wind. And right now I´m keeping my fingers crossed that Mario can fix the clogged pipe that Juanita needs to take out the water.

I've started doing one load a day so I can get it all dry and away again whilst using cheap solar power. So I do whites one day, coloureds the next and towels on a third day.

@TheHorse If there isn't a lot of washing, it all goes in together but that goes against what I learnt in Home Science at school.

I do my laundry every 8 to 10 days. Of course I did have a three week lapse just after Christmas when the management didn't empty the coin boxes. I may do laundry today, I'm not sure yet, I have a horrific pain in my neck from the cold, rain, humidity, and the lack of sleep. Hopefully the pain will subside rather soon and I can do laundry and work on bears. I was going to grab the bus and take some cash to a dear friend of mine who doesn't have food in the house, and I am going to go to the thrift shop to see if they might have some clothes in her size. I told her last night that they NEED to get into a low income apartment, the one they're living in right now isn't for disabled people, which she is badly disabled and can't really navigate stairs...and there are 3 sets of them for her to climb. And the list goes on from there. Anyhow, I am going to do laundry either today or tomorrow. I'm not sure when yet. I also need to hand wash the mohair that I use for making bears. I have to hang it up to dry in the shower. I did manage to get some vinegar for the rinse cycle of the mohair, it removes not only the excess soap but it also serves as a fabric softener. You might remove the "Spring Rose" aroma if you want to remove the scent. It doesn't take a lot of the vinegar to remove the scent. If you're like me, I'd opt for the nap.

@TheHorse AHHHH, visiting the laundry room is quite different than using the laundry room! I have to check and see if I have enough quarters to do the laundry. I also need to work up the energy to fix some breakfast. Either way, it's only Monday, so I really don't "HAVE to commit to doing laundry today. I still have a couple of pair of underwear available...

About once a month, or more if I'm feeling energetic or it's summertime and I get sweaty and/or dirty...

Once a week on average…more frequently in summer, less in winter. I did laundry yesterday. I will do laundry if I’m out on vacation for longer than a week.

I do my laundry something like once a month because I am home every day so my clothes don't get soiled. Mostly I wash my sheets and towels and a few pieces of other clothing, There is a large choice of what to wear when I do venture out to the convenience store two blocks aways,

Depends on the laundry load. But most of the times twice a week it is or sometimes thrice.

@TheHorse I am not diligent. It's just that my machine can only handle a small load of clothing each time.

I wash five to six days clothes on Wednesday/Thursday. On Saturdays I have Dad's laundry, and I add one or two day's clothes to that set. I think laundry is the worst job. Whoever invented clothes needs to be butchered. Every month, I change bed sheets twice. Once on the 15th and another time on 30th. I have to wash those, then sofa covers, dining chair covers, curtains...curtains I do once in 4 to 5 months. Lazy Vanny. Foot mats every second week.

I do laundry when there's enough to fill the machine and it can vary greatly depending on the time of year.
