Not going shopping again today!

I'm not going to the little Tesco this morning, because it looks grey out, it's starting to rain already and the wind is getting up. Storm Jocelyn is apparently due to hit at midday, but I think she's already arriving! My Mum is going to the shop instead, and she's going now, so that she can hopefully get back before midday.
I've asked my Mum to get me some mini cheddars which are like little biscuits in a packet like you get crisps in.
Instead of going to the little Tesco, I will be staying home in the nice and warm and dry, watching the telly!
I'm hoping to do some more drawing this afternoon, maybe on the canvas that I painted black. I'll need to go over the pencil marks in my white gel pen so that they can show up. But I hope my bedroom is warm enough! My bedroom is the coldest room in the house because under my window I have plasterboard instead of brick. Don't ask me why!

@sharonelton Our place looks like a tornado ripped through it, with branches, huge branches, strewn everywhere. Still very windy and wet with traffic lights out and trees across roads.

@sharonelton We've got to put our bins out tonight, probably okay when they're full but tomorrow, when they are empty, who knows what adventures they will be going on!

It's like that around here too, but fortunately our street is OK. It's definitely getting windier. I'll have to keep a check that our fences are OK and that are wheelie bins aren't going for a journey round our garden!

It's so windy here at the moment it's scary! The fence didn't blow down after the last storm, I wonder if it'll be intact after this one.
I hope you found something to do to put off filling in your tax return!

We're getting rain tomorrow and Thursday. It will melt the snow and turn it to ice. Not good.

I don't think the schools round us are closed. I haven't heard. But I don't expect us to as we don't have anyone who goes to school in our house!

@sharonelton I like watching Frugal Queen in France, Huw Richard's gardening videos and Country Life Vlog, but I also like a lot of Fortean/folklore videos like Hare in The Hawthorn, Angela's Symposium. Sometimes health/lifestyle like Dr Rangan Chatterjee or The Minimalists.

Yes, I did stay in to be nice and warm on Tuesday. But we went out to the big Tesco yesterday. We didn't have to walk far though thank goodness because of my step-dad dropping us off and picking us up again.

I'm the same! I'm in bed now and the wind is whistling round our house! It's scary!
I'm going to continue with the peacock this week and I've drawn a water lilly on a mini canvas which I painted black. I might paint that.
