Do did Greek gods actually existed?

It can be very interesting to read about the Greek gods and what they did in the ancient times and how powerful they can be. Something tells me they actually existed and many of them are still in existence but they dont seem to interfere with human activities again.

The Roman gods were the same as the Greek gods but with another name. The Greek Zeus was called Jupiter by Romans. Who knows if they existed or not and if they are not interfering with humans activities again. Now we say that God is the one who does... have we a tangible proof?

I think one proof is the increasing number of planets in diverse universe right now. Where are the billions of planets coming from and some even have water Oxygen.

@ogbenishyna You have this wrong! The planets always existed WE humans were unable to see them, but now with the modern technology we can.

@LadyDuck Nothing can exist out of nothing. The Big Bang theory itself doesnt make sense if there is an explosion in empty space. Everything must have evolved somewhere.

Yes they did exist. But they are just gods and not God.

Some topics always have a bit of mystery in them and they should remain that way.

Well, that is the things about Religions, Do or did they exist? The question is can they really be proven or is it just something people just believe in without actual proof. For me personally, I have never seen any proof that any god/gods actually exist. Therefor I am not a believer. I'm not the type to try to convince others to believe as I do, and I don't fault others for what they believe. Personally, I very much feel religions were made up to control the population.

@ogbenishyna Yeah could be, as I say I'm not saying there is not a god or gods I just having seen enough evidence to prove it and certainly I have not proof to disprove it either.

This planet seems to be strategically, mathematically and logically formed, That could be the proof of supernatural existence.

They are definitely fascinating stories. But that is all they are. Fantasy and story. They never actually ever existed. People still believe in things today. They need explanations for things and gods and stories of all powerful beings helps with that. But it is all mostly fantasy.

There has actually been a revival in worshipping the Greek Gods in recent years, so they certainly exist for some people. It's known as Hellenism and it's not the only religion that concentrates on old deities.

The ancient people did believe their Roman and Greek gods existed. Example, Roman Gregorian calendar dates, months, weeks, and yearly events are named after a lot of them.
