We see good examples of the survival of the fittest and Heliconia is one of them No matter what the weather, no matter how many wild trees have engulfed our garden Heliconia will start emerging when the time comes. We have these plants in a row and soon we will see an orange hue in our garden brightening it up Heliconia is a perennial flower and it stays on the plant for days .

Some plants survive and some do not. I plant wild flowers and they last a very long time.

Glad there is a flower surviving in your garden despite the many trees.
