Its been two months i have moved with my husband to another country. I am looking for a job since then. I feel so demotivated and useless at times. What should i do?

There is not a lot you can do. Try to get comfortable living in your new country and check all the available positions.

I know the feeling I was there myself in my younger yrs it's hard to stay motivated when all you hear is sorry we don't need you, or the job has been filled, thank you. The main thing is to NOT GIVE up, God knows what's going on & he feels your pain & suffering, just hang in there & keep trying, everything happens for a reason. Good luck, take care, & stay safe.

Just do what you are doing all you can do. Don't feel demotivated or useless. All jobs will be AI soon, its for yourself until they figure that out. People say a lot of things but they never address people trying. That does not pay the bills though so I hope you can find something till they address it.

Give yourself more time to settle into your new home, maybe get to know a few people who may be able to give you ideas on where to get a job . Is there a local job centre or employment office where you could talk to somebody who knows about the jobs available in the area? Also, there may be training opportunities where you could learn new skills to help with getting a job.

Have you tried becoming self employed? Maybe you have a talent or skill that you could turn into a career? Could you make things to sell? Why not sit down and brainstorm what you could do. Research options online. And good luck with whatever you do.

@QAhmed My pleasure. I hope you find what you are looking for. Being self-employed would be great because you don't have to answer to a boss and you can work when you want. No more being late for work!

I've been searching for jobs for years. I finally got some last year. The key point is that you have to keep trying. When there is something to attain giving up doesn't really help. Make some more moves, search more broadly and keep trying to do some things that could help. If you don't try to do things then nothing will change.

You should not lose heart and use all your might and resources to find a job. If possible, you may give tuitions to kids. Our best wishes are with you.

When you move to a different place it takes time to study about the job opportunities of that place to get a job. I faced this situation many times as my husband had a transferable job.

When you use tags in your discussions, put a comma inbetween each tag eg: Anxiety, jobsearching, suggestions,
