Good Winter Rains at last ..

Everything has its significance, or importance.
We were lacking winter rains.
In fact, December 23 to January 24 have been one of the driest in a long time.
So while the rains yesterday evening and today morning bought some day chill back, it has reduced pollution and fog.
Sunny days are still quite less and a few days away.
I hope that the dense fog doesn't returns.
Getting ready for a busy Friday.

It has anyways been Dehli/ Dilli and more over the history.
Then there was "Walled City", "Shahjahanpur" in between as well.
It can also be renamed as National Capital of Protests, Traffic and Pollution.
Yes this time we had Fog not seen in the past 10/12 years !

By the way I miss the Delhi of 90s.
Traffic was increasing but still manageable.
Traveling in crowded DTC buses was tough but overall public behaviour was better.
Life was at a slower pace.
Going to places like Appu Ghar, Markets felt better.
Not so post Late 90s.
Now it's overcrowded everywhere, even in the suburbs.

Yes but the question is what will achieve the balance?
Even BRTS failed in Delhi.
The Metros do expand but the number of Cars rise before that.

Yes the patterns are fluctuating a lot here as well.
I was checking a report in today's newspaper about changes in rain patterns and snow patterns (hilly areas).

It was uneven. A few days and almost one month of the rains.
Yet they were important.
Let's see does it means more or average rainfall during the Monsoon season.
How about the weather in your place?

Yes much needed, as we were having a shortage of winter rains.
