The answer my friend is blowing in the wind...

For the first time in a LONG time I watched the news, it was mostly because of the weather alerts and the emergency evacuation alerts and stay at home alerts here in California. I live on the central coast of California and we had wind in my town (Atascadero) of 80+ miles per hour. Plus we had close to 2 inches of rain. We're supposed to have some more alerts tomorrow (Monday) with more of the storm passing through. As I have said, I am very glad that I got my supplies I needed on Saturday. I also got a prescription from the ER doctor for my ulcer. It really wasn't the exact kind of medication I needed, well the results I needed. Between Petey and me we could add another MPH of wind to the forecast. The medication I got had the print-out that states that it tends to give the consumer "gas". Shoot, why don't they just be very honest and state that the person who takes the medication gets a heck of a case of the farts? I can't say there is anything lady-like or genteel about the emissions that come from the medication. Petey is even in awe when I let one rip, and he won't stay on my lap. So, when you hear the song, "The answer my friend is blowing in the wind," think of me taking my ulcer medication and get a well deserved laugh...I'm getting them myself!

Unfortunately it's ulcer medication. I just need to get a few people trained NOT to dump their troubles on me, that I'm not a bank or lending agency or a marriage counselor. Once they understand that, maybe I can get the stomach problem under control. I will say that the medication makes life interesting. With the people in the building that are hard of hearing, when I pass wind (okay-FART) they look at me and ask "What did you say?". I always make something up, and get a good giggle later.
