Messaging about Mom

88, strong and sharp. But early this morning, at 3 AM, my sister picked her up and took her to their local hospital's ER.
She was feeling weak and tired. Probably bacause her house maid and nurse had fallen ill with flu. She took care of her nurse and then, caught it afterwards.
Her cough started last Monday. Had been silent from our Family Chat, and Friday night, last night, she could hardly get up.
Her latest BP was 120/80. No fever. So, that's a good sign. But they will run some blood tests to address whatever is making her weak and fatigued.
She was prescribed antibiotic last week, and I suspect that mostly those things deplete some essential minerals and nutrients her body needed to heal completely.
Still thankful that she's got her temperature dealt with, 37 deg F.

Her "blood sugar was low" (ER, Friday). Dripped insulin. Saturday pm, my sisters moved her to a govenment hospital (inexpensive). Video showed that she was communicating with ER doctors (answering qiestions).
Sunday: bp 120/80, stable. But ER said "her heart beat was erratic, needed to monitor". Test results slow to report back.
Monday: Mom is stable. In her private room now. Her stay-in homecarer is with her, and reports back to us about Mom.
Tuesday today. My other sister is going to visit her. I believe mom is recovering. "under antibiotic drip" for she was coughing last week.
She's a fighter. She will make a breakthrough back to good health.

Since yesterday, mom's vitals are "stable", communicating, and resting. It's good news.
