"Love is Love"

It is too early to say, but I feel the love from a special someone. I just met her virtually yesterday, and the conversation keeps on rolling through text messages. It was like we had known each other for many years. The connection is so overwhelming. I just hope that it will work out despite the long-distance. She is living in Birmingham, UK, and the distance is 10,471 km from the Philippines. As they said, "Love moves in a mysterious way." That is why "love is love" for loving someone from a distance. I even forgot how it feels to be loved. It has been more than six years that I have not felt this way. At this very moment, I am just enjoying the moments with her virtually. It sounds like I am not loveless on Valentine's Day after all. How do you define love? Do you believe in a long-distance relationship? Image Credit: media0.giphy.com

Be careful with "love" you meet online, many are man disguised in pretty girls.

The good part is that I did not meet her on a dating app. But still, I need to consider your thoughts about it. I need to know her more than I do now. Thanks for your kind words.

@LadyDuck You are right. I am loveless now. She is a scammer and found out with her schemes in words.

@Shavkat - I know that there are so many scams with long distance relationships.

My boyfriend and I are in long distance relationship. He lives in a different state than I do. We both live in the US. Yes I have met him in person. He came down here this Christmas.

That is nice. It is only a few couples who can be in this situation.

I wish you the absolute best of luck. However, be careful, my friend! Let them earn your trust. Anything can happen as long as we use discernment.

I will take note of this. I am enjoying the moments, but I need to be cautious, too. Thank you for your concern.

I agree with Anna. Be careful. If she starts asking for money in any way don't do it

That would be a red flag if she asked for money. So far, she has not attempted to ask for that favor. Thanks for reminding me.

Well, all I can think of, love is complicated, it's never easy. About long-distance relationship, well, I once had such, some failed but one worked out as we eventually got married, and still are. The only thing to deal with is the trust but don't get too deep till you know the reality about her. It's harder now with AI tech everywhere so, kinda tricky to detect unless you two meet in person.

I agree. I had the feeling that this individual was a scammer. I found out soon enough not to communicate with her instantly. I must admit that she played with my emotions for a few days at that time.
