Amy Holt who is a homeowner who lives in North Bend Washington state is grateful to be alive when a bear attempted to break into her home on Wednesday evening through the doggie door in her back yard. Amy was concerned that her large dogs did not bark at the bear who attempted to ger inside her home by trying to enter through the windows outside of her home before the bear fled from her home since the bear was looking for food which was inside Amy's home. The good news is that no one was harmed in the incident in Amy's home in North Bend. Link is upi.com/8921707512308 via @upi

That would be scary to see a bear trying to get in a doggie door.

I would be scared as well if I saw a bear in my front yard myself.

When a bear wants something, they will go to extraordinary lengths to get it. The most important thing is, no one was hurt.

You are right that when a bear wants to eat food, they will do anything to achieve their goal.

A bear wants something new at that very moment. The good part is that no one got hurt.

Glad it all ended well. I could say that if I had a house with a doggy door and saw a bear's head looking in I would be standing there trying to remember how much I had to drink that day before,

I'm glad no one was hurt and that the bear was unable to get inside.

It was perhaps unfortunate, that the owner had a large doggy door, to allow her large dogs in and out of her house, as perhaps the bear would not have attempted entry if the doggy door was much smaller. It was also good that the bear gave up, and did not smash the windows, to try to get in.

I was thinking the same thing that the bear did not break inside of the home.

I am glad no one got hurt. I wonder why the dogs never barked or maybe they thought the bear was also a dog.
