Well, the day for loving couples has arrived. Time to put on some romantic tunes, maybe enjoy a glass of wine over dinner, and wish each other a Happy Valentine's Day! And if you're feeling the love, I've selected a few "love titled" songs to set the mood. Hope they go straight to your heart. Let's see if you and Cupid approve. Comments, musings, your own favorite "love titled" songs and trivia always welcome... ***MY LOVE- PAUL McCARTNEY & WINGS -What a great love song. No "Silly Love Song" here, just some heartfelt emotion Paul expressed with this tune for his wife, Linda. And a perfect selection to show how much you love each other on this very special day. *What do you think? Are you a fan of Paul's solo career and work with his band Wings? Have a favorite Paul song to share? If not. who was your favorite Beatle? I actually liked George, the quiet and introspective one. TRIVIA CHALLENGE ***Now for our trivia music challenge for those who like to play along. Words in "quote marks" provide valuable clues! See if you can guess the song and artist below... 1. "Say You Love Me" is a song recorded by this "British-American group in 1975" and was featured on the band's self-titled LP. The band started out as a blues-oriented group, but with the addition of "Stevie Nicks and her boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham," their sound changed, turning them into pop-rock superstars. This song is about a night on the town with your partner, something many do on Valentine's Day. You might recognize other hits the group had like "Rhiannon" and "Landslide." -Did you "shoot Cupid's arrow straight into the right answer.? Can you name the band? 2. This song was featured in the "Disney Movie The Lion King" and performed by a "glasses wearing British piano player." The 1994 tune won an "Academy Award for Best Song in 1995." This song was not written by this artist's usual collaborator, "Bernie Taupin," but instead by Tim Rice. The song is all about "feeling the love" on a romantic "evening." This artist's career has been one terrific "Yellow Brick Road" of success. -Can you name this piano playing icon and his love-titled song? Hoping you don't "fall out of love" figuring out these artists and songs. If you're stuck and need additional hints just let me know in your response. I'll be glad to supply one. Or, as the vocal group The Four Tops would say, "Reach Out and I'll Be There." Thanks for reading and responding to my music post!!! I will return with a new edition in the near future. Hope you can wait till then, lol. Stay tuned... And of course, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com

Correct! Those answers could make someone "lovestruck." MORE FUN MUSIC TRIVIA -"Silly Love Songs" was Paul McCartney's response to John Lennon's comment that all he ever wrote were silly love songs as a Beatle. Well, it worked out for Sir Paul as this tune became his biggest hit with Wings (#1). Billboard named it the #1 song of 1976. Enjoy...

1. That would be Ms. Christine Perfect on vocals on that song! I believe that was the first song on side 2 of that album (not that I ever had it or anything). Which brings to mind…usually bands name their first album after the band. Who waits until the TENTH album to name it “Fleetwood Mac”?!?! (Truth be told, the first album WAS named “Fleetwood Mac” as well, but after the success of the 1975 album they put stickers on the 1968 album saying “Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac.”) 2. Reggie! You know how I love Reggie Dwight! Can you feel the love I have for him tonight???? I keep hearing that Paul was in a band before Wings….the Bee Tulls or something like that. My favorite Paul love song is “Let Me Roll It.”

Let Me Roll it, an interesting choice. I "love it!" Great comments! And of course, I just "love to pieces" all the trivia. MORE FUN MUSIC TRIVIA -McCartney's My Love is one of three songs of the same title to top the American singles chart. Petula Clark's "My Love," was # 1 in 1966 whilst Justin Timberlake's song of the same title reached the peak position in 2006.
