Walmart the other day had some bedsheets on sale for $10 and my kids are growing out of their younger-themed bedsheets. While we had the money we picked up three sets letting the kids pick out which pattern they liked. My oldest went with the white and gray snowflakes, the middle one went with a green floral print (surprised me he wanted that one), and then the youngest went with skiers. Overall they came out to be a total of $25 vs $30 because one of the sheet sets was marked down to $5.

Hi C! Is flannel the same as flannelette? I think that’s we call it over here. Very soft and great for bed linen. We’ve also got brushed cotton and winceyette. I’m not sure what the difference is or whether they’re all the same? Sounds like you got a bargain though.

Don't know it is a good question. Mostly it's a yes we just call them Flannel here.

@ShyBear88 Over here, a flannel is something you usually wash your face with, a facecloth. Or it can mean words used by someone to confuse or deceive the person they are talking to. Something I could never be accused of!

@Orson_Kart Yeah in use flannel is usually a shirt for the winter you wear. Face clothes are just called face clothes or wash clothes also known as hand towels.

Good for a boy not minding floral. I bet they all look great, and new sheets are a nice treat.

He's my boy that doesn't care about gender norms and we don't enforce those norms either. If he likes them and wants them we get them the same with the other two kids.
