The Truth Is Out There

As we enter into another year of deep U.S. politics and discussions abound from both sides of the aisle, I think it is important to point out, as a public service announcement, that many (especially on the left unfortunately) are getting almost all of their talking points directly from the corrupt and deceptive news media we have in this country. Regardless of who you want to be president, or what you think the right answer is, the fact is that we cannot trust our media. Not a single one of them. If we want to be informed, we have to seek out our own answers to find the hidden truths. We cannot trust anyone. Not CNN. Not MSNBC or any of the major networks like CBS and NBC. Not even Fox News, OANN or NewsMax are going to give it to you exactly straight. Social media won't either. More important than anything, we have to want to find the truth as it exists. Not as we wish it to be.

You are right the media fabricate the stories and most people believe what they say.

The only thing that PROTECTS us is KNOWING that. Unfortunately, many people still trust the media and even allow the media to shape their thoughts, opinions, and ideas.

I guess my question would be, how do you know what is real/true and what isn't? How do you know that the media is lying to us if no one is telling the truth?

You have to do your own homework. It's harder. But you have to. No one can be informed who does not wish to seek the actual truth.

@porwest I am trying to figure out what you are referring to. Do you even know? If so, can you simply tell me what you are talking about? How do you know it is a lie? I am finding out that people tend to call things a lie simply because they feel different. Which is the vibe that you are giving off by not answering a simple question.

@porwest Thanks for clarifiying for me. I appreciate that. Really and truly when it comes to crime and statistics of crimes, the anayst that gather that information can only gather what is reported. So we'll never ever get the facts there. I'm a true crime junkie and there are plenty of crimes that haven't been documented properly due to there being many unsolved. As far as anything political, we're NEVER going to know the full truth on lol, we'll know what they want us to know and that's about it. My dad always told me to believe nothing I hear and half of what I see. That's something that I've held on to since he spoke those words to me because the older I get, the truer they become.

Americans are more aware of the truth than never before, and they will use that at the polls this year.

That's so right & at the same time SO wrong when you can't believe ANY 1 to tell the truth which is what makes life so crazy when you can't believe ANYTHING any 1 says no matter who it is, rather it's your Dr or your landlord, or the news cast.

People have to want to know the truth and have to be less willing to accept truths told to them as actual truths. I don't know how we fix that. Too many people simply take someone's word for everything.
