God's Humour

The other day, I gathered from our fellow neighbors, that, two young boys, in the late evening burst crackers in front of a black dog. The atrocities towards animals, highlight a sick mindset. It’s like vast expanses of dark clouds approaching from the horizon as one looks towards the sea. My question is however, not to man, but God. Is it deliberate? Is it all part of His Plan? If He is the Indweller in every being, in every atom, if His Supreme Creation is Man, then why is there annihilation of humanity seen everywhere? Even if He intends to usher compassion in every generous heart, why is He not allowing that heart to survive? If the Doership is attributed to Him, then is it He who is orchestrating the doomsday events? We know of a benevolent, understanding, all compassionate God. What makes Him/She/It experience an upsurge of negative energy? Assailants, who have no mind of their own, thoughts of their own, might say that it’s all done for the general good. Overpopulation has to be curbed. If that is so, who has given man the right, who is not the Creator, to indulge in brutal, rigorous activities? You? How are You ‘intelligent’ then? ‘Humour me’ I say. God: ‘It is always darkest before dawn, My Child!’

I would like to start by saying I absolutely love your writing style. I love how pure this post is, a simple act prompted a incredibly intelligent question. My brother once asked me, " Isn't it crazy that we don't have to taught to be mean, nasty or ugly to other people or animals? We have to be taught to be good, it is not something naturally built within us." That's what I thought about when I read your post. Now, I won't pass judgment on those children or even their parents on their acts, but I can only assume they did what they did because no one bothered informing them that it is wrong. Kids don't always have an awareness that what they are doing is wrong, sometimes they simply want to know what would happen if a b or c is done; their curiosity gets the best of them. I have to catch myself when I'm getting on to my own kids for something. Indeed we were created in the image of God, but freewill I think will be what for sure is our doom in the end.

Thank you for your valuable response. The derivation of getting sadistic pleasure is on the rise. This calls for immediate punishment as a value-added responsibility. Curiosity, experiments, so far as they're constructive, is good. But why in a negative way? There are movies, series, events, activities, music, rituals, deliberately organized to invoke the devil. Technology leading to isolation has led to numbing the mind, the senses, the sensibilities, the emotion.

God gave man free will to do what he wants. God will be back to put man in the right path.

You tell me. How eagerly am I waiting for Him, His interference, only I know.
