Yup, it's March 1st and it just snuck in, thanks to Leap Day. And it's as calm as can be. So does this mean it'll go out like a lion? Or, maybe because Leap Day blew March ahead one day, it'll go out as a lamb? Here's hoping. It's bright and sunny out this morning and already 1°C. It was 0° just 5 minutes ago and supposed to reach 10°C/50°F, so I'm happy. How's 'bout you?

It rains, the wind blows, it's dark and gloomy, but not cold. At least we know it will not snow.

February came and went. It was somewhat chilly this morning, but it's supposed to warm up over the weekend. I'm really happy about that.

As long as it leaves as a well-mannered lamb, I'll be happy. Today is sunny and 14°C/57°F at noon and supposed to rise to 17°C/63°F. That'd be nice: room temperature inside and out.

@BarBaraPrz No, very little, that's why it was a surprise. But when we do get snow it is most often in March or April.

March 1st was cold here but calm and sunny. So I called it a lamb. But the kids at school thought the cold meant it was a lion. ???
