I am not that familiar with former University of Michigan football player Braylon Edwards who played for the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League from 2005-2012. However Braylon was at the right place at the right time on Friday March 1 in Farmington Hills Michigan when he saved an 80 year old senior man who was getting beat up a 25 year old man at the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA). The fight between the young man and the senior happened in the locker room at the YMCA when the older man argued to the younger man that he was playing his music too loud. The younger man began to hit the senior citizen inside the locker room when Braylon saved the senior man from getting a concussion since the younger man was going to slam the senior man's head on a counter. The young man fled the scene on foot before he was detained by the police later in the day and is currently after he was arrested. It is nice to see a former NFL football player who is doing good deeds in his community. Link is msn.com/en-us/sports/n...

This older man probably would have been killed, if Braylon hadn't intervened! Thank God, he did step in and he came to the man's rescue!

That is true since the authorities are praising Braylon for saving the senior man's life.

@Deepizzaguy At 80 years old, he wouldn't be prepared for any sort of physical conflict.

I saw this! Thank heavens for that guy. He was a great player, but turns out he’s an even better human.

@AmbiePam There are a lot of good people that are former football players more than the few rotten apples.

That is true not all former football players are thugs or bad guys off of the field.

So terrible a thing to happen but the football player is a hero.

I am in agreement with you that a young man beats up a senior man just because the senior objected to the younger man playing his music too loud.

Young men like that should be locked up and chained, Not fair at all to attack a senior citizen, I am glad the football player saved the man and the jerk got arrested,

It's pretty bad that such a young man started bashing an 80-year-old.

That is very true since seniors deserve better treatment.

Some old men speak up like that without thinking about the possible consequences, but being in the YMCA, you would expect better behavior there, and he was lucky that he was rescued from a beating, on that day.

That is gross. I'm glad somebody had the decency to help the guy. Too much like a Stephen King book.

I agree with you that Braylon was around to prevent the senior man from getting killed or seriously injured by the younger man.
