I mostly keep my mouth shut on religious ideology. I rarely inflict my counter views on others. I allow the Christian view to ride herd. Once in a sad, too blue moon I let 'er rip. I am not perfect so once in a while....
Somebody just said some nasty things to me here on our beloved My Lot. I blessed that foul mouthed individual with a "Goddess bless you" and know what? I meant it. You are a mean mouthed slime pit. Or your intent is to be that way. But may She love you and care for you as you barrel along, spewing slick oil onto the aching planet.

We don't know what beliefs other people have. There are people on mylot from all over the world, and what someone believes here in the states may not be what someone in another country believes. It's best to try to avoid religion for the most part, as it can cause painful conversations as well as arguments. Politics can get very heated as well, we all know that. I have backed out of some discussions just to avoid blowing my cool completely, but that's just me.

It's sad that there are these types of people on MyLot. I have not run into anyone leaving me a nasty comment. I'm sorry it happened to you. Those people are not worth your time. Have a good day.

I’m sorry this upset you so much. I have read a couple that made me want to swing back, but I don’t have the energy. Maybe I should get some of your gumption. But really, I am sorry something bothered you this much. I got a racist comment on a picture of my sister’s family once, and I let loose in a discussion. Some things just hit you where it matters.

I have noticed a few racist comments/posts on here before. One or two even implied that the only people doing the shootings were black people. Um, that is not the case here--not from what I see on our news and what I read about. Good and bad people come in all colors, shapes, and sizes.
That being said, I can certainly see how you could be very upset about your own family getting racist comments. That is simply not acceptable.

A lot of Christians are hyper-sensitive about their very narrow beliefs for some reason.
I love it when people talk of a Goddess rather than a God. I'm not a person of faith but I like the idea of a Goddess much more than a God.
