It's almost spring and the Bradford Pears are in bloom

The other day, @TheHorse asked me to show a photo of our Bradford Pears in bloom. The photo is of our small grove of Bradford Pear trees next to the driveway near the road. There are three trees there. One we planted and two volunteers. The volunteers have multiple trunks because they were mowed over a time or two in their early stages yet somehow survived. Our Bradford Pears do not have the cultured and pruned look of most of the others in our area. We never did any pruning or shaping. Plant them and let them grow is our motto. What flowers are blooming in your area?

This area is not quite paradise, but it's only a two-hour drive away, and we're headed there next Thursday for a ten-day stay.

That is beautiful. All the little green things are peeping through right now, Daffodils, lilies, and maybe some hibiscus. The usual pre-Easter flowers are starting to perk up.

They look nice! Our blossoms have fallen. I should take a hike and see what's happening in the foothills.

That tree does look very pretty. Is it an ornamental or can you eat the pears?

Very pretty. We have some little white flowers that have come up in our flower bed. Have a good weekend.
