It has been long since I bought out a discussion on Cricket. Multiple reasons came into being. May be I could write some retrospective discussions on recent cricket matches. Back to the current discussion. Overcoming a first test match defeat vs England; even with key players like Virat Kohli, K.L.Rahul missing all or a few matches, India fought back so nicely. Spinners R.Ashwin, Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav were in an excellent form. So was Bumrah. Youngsters and debutants Dhruv Jurel, Sarfaraz Khan, Padikal, Akash Deep stepped up and proved important in this win. Yashaswi Jaiswal who scored 700 plus in this series and 2 scores of 200 + batted brilliantly. The score reads 4-1 yet it was much closer. Joe Root, Shoaib Bashir, Tom Hartley performed well. So did Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett though they were not up to the mark in the last two tests. Jimmy Anderson reached the landmark of 700 wickets - an Everest like feat for s fast bowler. So much to write but it is already very long! Thoughts... Invited !!

Here I pretend to know what I am talking about The recent India vs England cricket series showcased standout performances despite missing key players. Spinners like R. Ashwin, Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav excelled, along with Bumrah. Young talents like Jurel, Khan, Padikal, Akash Deep, and the exceptional Yashaswi Jaiswal contributed significantly to India's victory. On the English side, Root, Bashir, Hartley, Crawley, and Duckett performed well. Anderson's milestone of 700 wickets was remarkable. The series ended 4-1 in India's favor but was closely fought, displaying talent and depth from both teams for cricket enthusiasts. referenced from a know it all

The youngsters would have been so excited and nervous at these first matches.

@JudyEv They performed well under the pressures of the English "Bazball". A few players looked as confident as the more experienced ones.
