What Are Your Thoughts?

I keep hearing more and more about AI, well at first it didn't seem to phase me, but here lately you hear of it constantly. Being old, I'm sure I'm on the late show, but the other day I noticed you could download it. They even have names if you have a question just ask whatever the name is and get an answer. Are you familiar with AI, or does it seem sort of out there. Just wondering.

You mean like, Siri, what is the weather like today? Or, Alexa, what is the temperature outside? Or are you talking more advanced? If it is too advanced, I’m lost about it.

Yes I do know a little about AI..I have no fear of it..maybe I should though..I am not sure if it is good or bad. I know people write books entirely from AI.

And are they paid for those books? Maybe I should write a book too.

It's been slowly murging into our lives over the past ten years. In the past five or so, it's been a hot topic of conversation. Ever hear of a robot vacuum or smart light? AI, ever use a voice assistant? AI. Want to check the weather on your phone? AI. it's everywhere.

My daughter is in her 40s'. She continues to resist getting a smart phone. She is an artist- she can paint and draw gorgeous things. She worries because it is too easy for AI to steal an artist's work and it is too easy for an artistic piece to have been done by AI. I write fiction. I don't want a program to tell me how to write or to write for me.

I've heard of it. It tries to interfere with my writing automatically. I'm not thrilled with it and don't want it in my life. I want to think for myself.

Not much !! What I have understood it is more advance than Microsoft assistant back in 1990s it looks like they have entered every possible data to response any questions and so as to manipulate by using images, voices and so on

I think we hear even a bit too much about AI. Alexa by Amazon answer questions.

I am not familiar with AI, but I would like to try it. My therapist said that I could do therapy using AI and replace him.

Hello, there! AI is a very interesting new technology! I am super familiar with AI chatbots, in particular. For instance, now you can go to Bing, type in a search term or phrase, and the AI chatbot can give you information based on a combination of answers and solutions from the internet! It's kind of neat, I think!
