Would I resort to cereal posting to try and make payout this month?

The answer is yes. My Cheerios were getting old and tired. Today I tossed what was left and bought some Rice Chex, one of my childhood and young adulthood favorites, along with some milk. I already have brown sugar here. I took a photo of the large branch that fell from my redwood tree. It missed my house. Perhaps I'll post that one later. Do you have favorite cereals? I looked for Muesli, another of my childhood favorites, but could not find it.

I used to buy Just Right then found out it has a much sugar as any of the others so I'm back to Weetbix if I have cereal.

@TheHorse Yes, Müsli is "the" classic Swiss breakfast, that we DO NOT buy ready made, but we make scratch.

I don't think we have Weetbix here. I wish we had Muesli here. Do they have it there? I bet @LadyDuck has Muesli as an option.

I have not eaten cereal in years. But I do hope you are able to make payout. Speaking of payout, where are our dollar signs? The past few months they've been paying around the 12th. It's the 15th and nothing. Hmm. lol

@porwest As long as you don't drive five miles to save 10 cents/gallon on 10 gallons of gas.

Raise bran has been a favorite. Cherios, too. I'll have to see if I can think of more. Either way I hope this helps you. With the extra posting I've been doing, I'm actually real close to payout already. Only a little less than a dollar and a half to go.

We do not eat cereals, I prepare Müsli time by time using rolled oat, milk (or yogurt) chopped fruits, berries and nuts.

@TheHorse - No one buy "ready made" here, Swiss are picky about their morning Müsli.

The Muesli I used to enjoy came in a small but heavy cereal box.

Your Chex picture looked so good! Now, I want to get some. I have old Cheerios. I was thinking of melting some leftover candy and mixing Cheerios into it. The chocolate would make it taste good again because chocolate helps everything.

@TheHorse That sounds like an excellent plan to me. Eat chocolate and don't worry about anything. How is your book coming along?

@akalinus Ah, you reminded me. Time to put on more tea water and eat some chocolate. The book is coming along, albeit slowly.

You have convinced me. I had grumpy dreams last night. I am going to go eat some chocolate now. I threw out the Cheerios. There was only about 1/2 inch left.

I have never quite understood the difference between Mueslix and granola. I need to make granola for us for the warmer weather. I find that rice cereals "burn off" faster and I get hungry sooner, but I love making snack mixes with the various chex and other things.

No me, granola is stickier and sweeter. It never really resonated with me.

@TheHorse Oh yes Bugles. I was always excited when I would be grocery shopping with my Mom as a youngster and see them , ask her if we could buy some and she would say okay.

I haven't had cereal since my childhood. If I had to have cereal, I'd probably have Cheerios with no sugar. Have a good weekend.

I make homemade granola. I will eat wheat Chex or plain shredded wheat. I truly hate most cold cereals. I prefer hot cereals made from the real grains without all the chemicals and every bite sugar coated.

My favorite used to be Cheerios. As a child, I loved eating Kellogg's cornflakes soaked in milk and mushy. I no longer eat cereal,

I learned in childhood to put the milk and sugar in first, and then add the cereal as I ate. I liked the crunchiness.
