Do you believe Trump actually got an insurance company to pay his 91 million dollar bond? Or is this just more Lefty BS?

OK, so Donald Trump lost in the case about that lady he (allegedly) sexually assaulted in a dressing room. He wants to appeal but has to put up the money he owes as bond to appeal. That's how I understand it. This Lefty blogger dude is claiming that Trump did not really post that bond himself. Do you believe this could be true? He's claiming that Trump "hired" an insurance/bond company to pay the bond so he can appeal. Do you believe this? Trump claims to be a wealthy man, worth over a billion dollars. Why would he have to "borrow" $91 millon to post bond, probably with interest? Do you believe this guy? Or is this more Lefty propaganda?

@TheHorse I don't think he actually has that much cash. Everything is tied up paying his bills.

He may not have any campaign money left to divert, as his PACs are running dry. But shouldn't he have some cash available from his "fortune"?

I'm on the fence about it. He's a business man. And, he probably could fork over the cash. But, why spend the money if you can get someone else to do it?

@TheHorse That's why I'm on the fence about it. It would depend on what Tremp considers more of a risk.

Because you have to pay interest when you borrow money. And the Interest on a 91 million high risk loan could be 10 percent. or 9.1 million in a year.

Being a wealthy man with billions of dollars DOES NOT mean that you have billions in cash. Of course he could have hired an insurance/bond company to pay the bond, if has enough assets to make them sure that they will recover their money.

I am so tired of this guy. My thoughts are perhaps he has stashed most of his money in offshore banks for the inevitable time he might have to make a break for it and whatever money was left in the US was not enough, However, everything to do with this man should be taken with a grain of salt, From 2022

I read the article. I did not realize he had money stashed away in that many countries, including possibly China.

Even after he is finally sentenced, he'll probably still be in the news.
