JGood rainy morning. You guessed it, woke up to rain. It's alright. I can't hear anything, but when I check the weather app on my phone or look through the cameras, I can tell it's been raining. Not hard enough to flood but enough it's obvious. I knew to expect some today. I just didn't know when.
George is in the process of getting up and today is laundry day. Even though he soaks through his shirts at night, and sometimes the couch, it's getting better because he's managing to keep the back of his shirts fairly dry. Not sure if that's good or bad. However, I'll take it.

Some of it, is pee and lying flat. At the same time he's improved. I haven't had to clean up poop in a while. And he's good about staying dry during the day. I just have to get him to sit on the toilet during times when he's ready to relax and wind down. It'll keep him and the couch dry.

@kaylachan - With the serious health problem he had I can understand what is happening. I hope he can get the habit to sit again on the toilet at the right time.

A rainy morning brings its own cozy ambiance, even if the lack of sound makes it harder to fully experience.
It's good the rain isn't causing flooding. Dealing with George's night sweats and managing the laundry is an ongoing challenge, but any small improvement like drier shirt backs is positive.
The routine of laundry day can provide a grounding touchstone, even on a drippy day. The rain may limit outdoor plans, but also brings renewal and coziness for staying inside. Wishing you both a relaxing rainy day routine.
