Behind on my books

Goodreads says that I am seven books behind schedule. I hope I can catch up. I am going to try and see if there are any interesting books in the library that are under 200 pages. Won't take as much time to read those as it would much longer books.
Poetry books would certainly help me to catch up. Last time I was at the library though the poetry books were either those I had already read or the books were huge. Maybe I will get lucky this time around and there will be something for me to borrow.
I am feeling rather hungry, so I think I will make some pancakes and top them with blueberries with sugar and sour cream. Then I will venture out to the library. Though I have some stuff to watch on DVR so maybe I will postpone the library visit for later in the day.

What do you get out of Goodreads anything? Just curious.

Not sure what you mean. Goodreads lets you keep track of books you read and it has a reading challenge every year where you set a goal of how many books you want to read by the end of the year and try to reach. That’s fun to do. Plus, it gets me to read more. I also know that which books I read and which I didn’t.

@lovebuglena Oh I see tis just a hobby type thing then Goodreads..I thought it was one of those sites that pay you for reviews. I tried one of those..no good for me.

@RebeccasFarm oh no. People can leave reviews on books there. Or just rate them. You don’t get laid for reviewing books there. I mean paid.

Some books nowadays are huge. It's almost off-putting before you even start on them.

@lovebuglena We usually put back books with very small font. It's too difficult.

And some have very small font or the spacing between the lines is too small. I hate that. It's not an enjoyable read that way and hard on the eyes.

I ended up not going to the library. I felt sleepy after eating the pancakes for some reason.
