It Makes No Sense

It is hard sometimes (okay, MOST of the time), to understand the mind of a liberal. Take, for example, how much the left wants to go after the rich, punish success, and rail against big corporations for gouging people, exploiting people for greed, and sing to the High Heavens that they need to pay their fair share. They do actually pay their fair share. Something for another day and that I will be happy to expand on in comments. But what has the Biden administration been bragging about almost non-stop recently? How well the stock market is doing. I mean, if you are going to scold the companies for being greedy and taking everyone's money, why in the next breath try to take credit for the very people they seem to hate getting even more richer—through THEIR own policies? It makes no sense.

He wants to talk about the stock market so he doesn’t have to address the rising cost of gasoline.

The liberals on this site of course won't comment. Because they can't respond to it. Because what I said is actually true. They don't have a position, really. They never do. I swear I responded to you on this post, by the way. Maybe I am losing my mind? lol

Most politicians especially Presidents need to tout anything which makes them look like they are accomplishing something good for America. What Biden doesn't seem to understand is that the regular guy (which he is always claiming to be in his speeches), and those just above poverty level probably don't earn enough or cannot afford to invest in the stock market. And company earnings drive stock market prices not administrative policies from the President. As far as attacking big business, he must be listening too much to socialists like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who almost always cry corporate exploitation of the masses. Heck, even if a kid opened a lemonade stand and made a profit off of it they would cry foul! Corporations make the jobs and fuel the economy. And well-run and successful corporations are in business to make money! Over tax them, regulate their profits, and they will just pass on the cost to the consumer, meaning us who can least afford the price increases. Increase the Federal or state minimum wage to an absurd level and companies will either reduce staff or automate to reduce overhead. A business is supposed to do that! The government could take a cue on how to reduce costs. Most Liberals have never owned a business or know how to make a profit. They haven't a clue about economics. If they did, they would not be spending money like a drunken sailor. Ask yourself this, what party was the last to turn in a balanced budget (hint: 1998- a Republican held Congress and Senate). Since then both parties just kick the budget down the road with no fiscal responsibility. And they attack profitable businesses.
