That is a topic that brings so much division to people.
People who would normally get along start tearing each other to pieces with politics.
And religion is another one that does that.

I am not comfortable and hardly take side for any of the politicians. It looks like all are playing their games.

I don't see how it correlates to being bitten by a snake unless you're afraid of snakes and want to run and hide when you hear about it.
I think it depends on who you're discussing politics with. My husband gets overbearing so I only talk about things with him if I agree. I agree with his point of view on certain things but not all.
My sister recently asked me who I was voting for and we both stayed level headed. Most times it's best to steer the conversation away from politics and religion.

@grenery8 that happens too in my country. The old government does that when nearing election hoping to get more votes. Then after elections they do terrible things and make bad decisions that affect the people.

@mildredtabitha yes and all they do after elections is talking rubish about people before them, while doing nothing. when elections are over here, i think i could breathe again
