My work BFF went to Europe last summer and fell in love with European-style yogurt. She said she can't do the stuff we have here in the US any longer. A week or two ago she said she was researching Instant Pot yogurt recipes but she couldn't imagine having dairy at low temperature in an Instant Pot for hours and hours. She told me to do it, try it and see if I died. If I was still alive 24 hours later then she'd try it. (reminds me of her "here hold this" with the bag of chocolate covered pretzels. . . I probably wrote about that one before) Well I have the mixture in the Instant Pot. It has to do its thing on the "yogurt" setting for 12 hours and then be refrigerated for 12 hours. I'll taste it just to see if it is any better than what I can get at the store but I am not volunteering as tribute. She and I can both taste it on the same day.

I have thought many times of doing that..but I never have the patience. Good, hope it turns out. I buy the Fage Lactose Free..it is divine.

I used to make yoghurt in a yogurt maker. It was a very low temperature.
